The mission of our Women’s Ministry is to encourage each woman in the church to grow in her love for and obedience to God through prayer, Bible study, fellowship, service, and outreach. An elected Women’s Ministry board coordinates activities and events to foster this growth through:
- Bible Study in the fall and spring (morning and evening times available).
- Group events and activities (wedding/baby showers, brunch/devotional times, game nights, cookie exchanges, secret sisters, book discussion groups, service projects, seeing a movie together, mother/daughter outings).
- Fun and Fellowship for Four (informal meetings between four randomly selected women in the church).
- Annual overnight retreats featuring inspirational speakers for women in all seasons of life.
Members of the Women’s Ministry board also supervise the church’s fellowship dinners, recruit and coordinate nursery volunteers, and organize volunteers to supply meals to new mothers or other persons in need.
