Small Groups

Cornerstone small groups are regular gatherings of 8-12 adults for the purpose of studying God’s Word and applying it in our lives and relationships. Our small groups are open to everyone: Cornerstone members, church visitors, and members of the community who are not affiliated with a local church. These groups are a safe place to get to know other Christians and to explore the meaning and application of God’s Word in a laid-back and enjoyable setting. You are welcome to join a group at any time, and you will not be expected to lead, pray out loud, or give answers to discussion questions unless you are comfortable doing so.

Small Groups at Cornerstone PCA - St. Louis

Small groups emphasize:

  • Instruction: quality, in-depth, engaging study, and application of God’s Word.
  • Fellowship: developing and strengthening Christian friendships through which growth, accountability, support, and encouragement are consistently sought, progressively realized, and enthusiastically enjoyed.
  • Prayer: engaging together in prayer that focuses not only on circumstantial praises/needs/requests, but also on seeking sanctification and deeper dependence upon Christ (i.e., not just “God, change this,” but “God, change me/us through this”).
  • Service: applying the gospel in practical ways as we live, not just for ourselves, but for Christ and for those he has placed in our lives.

Regular small group meetings occur every other week, except in the summer and during Advent. Cornerstone currently has four small groups, listed below by meeting time:
